Multi-award winning Bread and Circuses is a satirical, animated cartoon on the subject of ‘Fatness’ – and the broader purposes of prejudice and discrimination. In the film, we follow a group of spoof food packaging cartoon characters – reminiscent of designs from the last century, through various advertising inspired pastiches, while they/the narrator sing an original song discussing fatness, its impact and societal/historical reactions to it.
