Jon Michael (commmunications & Markewting Manager) “We received the trophy at the prestigious Third Sector Awards in an event at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. It was fabulous accolade for us – and represents your amazing work on the animation”
The powerful animation showcases the response of the crew, Holly’s journey from roadside collision to hospital -and included some stunning Cornish coastal scenes and an encounter with Father Christmas which helped to bring the festive animation to life. Alongside the stunning animation which was produced by Spider Eye (a local Cornish company) Cornwall Air Ambulance worked with BAFTA winning composer and supporter of the charity, Ben Bartlett who produced an amazing soundtrack ‘Blades in the Sky’ which was recorded with choirs from across Cornwall – and even included the main voice of a young airlifted patient (and talented vocalist) who was rescued some years ago in a sea incident near Newquay. The response to the campaign was phenomenal, reaching millions of people (including national TV), and raising the most money ever from a single Cornwall Air Ambulance campaign
