Adapted by Miracle Theatre from their original play, this is the story based on Edward Bosanketh's novel Tin, published in 1880. The protagonists were based on well-known local characters (thinly disguised) The story exposed the reallife dodgy dealings of the local bank. Subsequently, the bankers attempted to buy and destroy
all copies of the book!
In an experimental approach to film making and an almost non existent budget, all the character actors were shot against Green screen and composited on to miniture model sets, creating quite an original feel. Spider Eye provided all the keying, cgi, animation and compositing.
